I love how when it suits him, i.e. when it gets him time alone with Sharon, Nick is all his son, his "boy". Yet he left Phyllis today and didn't even give his son the courtesy of telling him, let alone taking Noah along! Great dad.

What in the world does Lauren know about disciplining a teenager? She sent Scotty away when he was a small child and she never even mentions the kid now. Every time Michael tries to come down on Eden for one of her stunts, Lauren goes all soft and starts with the "we love having you because we're family" crap, which Eden totally takes advantage of.

Nick's excuse to rush off to see Sharon was totally contrived. He wasn't sure he wanted Sharon to hear the news from Jack? Puhleeze. Yet when the accident first happened and no one knew Noah's condition, they were content to just FAX her the news. Suddenly Nick has to drive there to tell her he's ok? There was nothing Sharon could do at that point anyway, and why put both of their lives at risk driving in a storm? Face it, Nick, you're just not over her. Ya big unfaithful JERK. And after all that, Sharon flips out on his ass for not staying with Noah. There's no pleasing her.

I got a kick out of 'poor poor pitiful me' Eden saying every time she and Noah "try to have fun," someone gets in trouble. Gee, maybe that's because she keeps lying about everything.

Yeah, I'm sure the head cheerleader would want supercilious Eden at her party. They could have a "snot off" I guess to see which one of them are more annoying. If those two bumbling idiots were cold, why in the world didn't they START WALKING? And how could Noah not know who pulled him out of the water? He was conscious while Brad was trying to help him because Brad answered his call, and Brad inched out on the pond to get him. Suddenly he can't remember who that was? Hey, maybe he caught his daddy's amnesia. Yet another dropped storyline.

I liked the jacket/sweater(?) Sharon Case was wearing today.

How can Noah possibly find Eden attractive? She lies with a perfectly straight face over and over again. Doesn't the twit know that she will lie to him, too? How can he ever trust her?

And why do I just know Phyllis is going to get the blame when something happens to Noah--and you know it will? She did the smart thing. She checked with Michael and she drove them there herself. But she should have known with them BEGGING her not to come in that something was up beyond embarrassment.

Nick, OF ALL PEOPLE, should not be one to point fingers and lay blame about that stupid kid of his pulling a fast one when Noah's done it MANY times to Nick.

Why does Nick keep saying "Noah needs to come first"? The kid isn't a baby, unlike say, his DAUGHTER, Summer? Shouldn't SHE come first?

And if the kids really DO come first, why in the world was Nick sucking face with Sharon, putting two marriages in jeopardy once again? All that crap about how it felt so right to be with her, like "old times" and yet before he left, he was professing his love for Phyllis. Oy.

It's bad enough that only ten years separates Donna from her son Marcus, and that less than ten years separates Brooke from the woman who plays her mother, NOW Y&R folks hire a kid who is only ONE YEAR younger than Daniel to play Noah. Thank God he clarified for us today by saying, "I know I'm just a kid but...." PUHLEEZE.

Word is that Karen is on her way out again. I don’t know why they brought her back, to be perfectly frank. But now that she’s here they need to play Tyra against her. I think that’s why Tyra is suddenly telling Neil that Devon and Ana are brother and sister. To stay close to him. Speaking of Karen, did you know that Nia Peeples real name is Virenia Gwendolyn Peeples? Yep, I’d change it too.

The new and improved (as well as older) Noah will reappear from “camp” on August 13th, as well as Traci Abbott.

Jana and Kevin will marry on August 15th.

According to the Feds, Nikki and Victor are still legally married.

Damn it, I was hoping Eric Braeden was on vacation. That was the only redeeming factor in the Sabrina death story as far as I was concerned: the fact that Victor would “disappear”. I had no ide he’d “disappear” and yet stay on our screen day after day. Sigh.
