color me "president of Jabot"...

IF Victor really names Glo president of Jabot, you just know she'll be all full of herself, thinking he named her to the position because she really has talent. Should be a hoot to watch!

oh for the love of----

How in the world could Jack NOT know about Gloria getting a settlement from Newman? I hate when the writers try to pull off crap like that. It's so convenient how Michael puts aside his ethics when it comes to his mother. He should have made her pay Jack the minute she got that money. Instead he's probably made it possible for her to hide it.

it's time to rant and rave!

Glo is a COMPLETE IDIOT for agreeing to sell to Victor. If she opens her big mouth, which is highly likely, she'll end up with NOTHING. And if Victor wanted to cheat her, he could just refuse to give her any money.

Brad googling the cabin was as creepy as Kevin finding the house plans to Nick's place online. STALKERS!!

And how in the world does owning a measly 5% of the stock give Victor the right to tell anyone what to do? With those shares, Jill is back in control. She knows damn well he's not going to give the shares to the Abbott family, so who else is left?

Gloria, how's it gonna go down?

LMAO @ Gloria realizing she was stuck in jail while Katherine was free as a bird...LOL! Serves her right for being such a user.

And how in the world does she expect Jack to get her out when the judge revoked her bail?

nothing like following protocol

Got a kick out of the way Jack waltzed into Jabot's offices and proclaimed that he was able to work there since Gloria tainted the cream and he had nothing to do with it.

Really? So the judge's previous decision was overturned in court already? And Gloria has been charged?

I hate it when the writers treat the viewers as idiots, skipping steps whenever they feel like it. Like Heather having Adam ARRESTED, then letting him go without booking him.

today's rant

Why in the world would Katherine only give Brock 1% of her damn estate and give her MAID half of the house and Jill 50% of her estate? Makes no sense. Why wouldn’t she share the remaining 50% evenly between Brock and Jill? I LMAO when Jill wanted to contest the will before it had even been read in it’s entirety. For what purpose? Guess she forgets that she’s already as rich as Croesus without Katherine’s money. She can well afford to buy out Esther’s share if she’s so desperate to get that mausoleum to herself.

So the entire Abbott family is now seeing dead John and nobody says anything about it to anyone else or sees it as a wee bit odd? Good to see there’s fake tanning lotion in Heaven. You’d think someone close to Jerry D would say, “Dude. Your face is the color of a pumpkin.” or something equally tactful.

Dina was anxious to see her granddaughter Colleen and yet she rushed back without bothering to see her? Grandma of the Year material.

Daniel can’t stay because he has concert obligations…LOL! Yeah, right. Couldn’t they have come up with a more plausible excuse than that, like his toilet was clogged or his library books were overdue?

Why are Jeff and Gloria trusting Jack? Just yesterday he told them to get lost. And they just take some of Jack’s liquor? When are they going to move out of that damn pool house? They act like white trash relatives. How long is Jack going to let Gloria use that pathetic “I miss John” excuse in exchange for free lodging?

thursday's show

What's with that stupid poof in Nikki's hair? It gets bigger and bigger every day. Kinda like a huge boil getting ready to pop.

Great scene with Gloria yesterday when she reminded "River"--writers, CHANGE THAT STUPID NAME, WILL YA?!--that he abandoned her and Michael yet managed to "raise that one".

Gawd, once again Jack went over all the wrongs Victor ever did to him. Too bad his memory isn't that long when it comes to the shit he's pulled on Victor. And others.

thursday's rant

How Zappoto lost his groove...
Why he hung around with TGVN, of course. His “poor poor pitiful me” routine is depressing even the dog. What’s with the sketch of Sabrina Victor is staring at? Doesn’t the man have any photos of their time together? To me they seemed like one of those couples who would have their portraits taken in cutesy poses every week, don't you think? Pics of them in identical outfits, identical colors, on the stairs, outside by a tree, with the dog...blah blah, endless poses. And yet, not one picture of Sabrina is sitting on the piano for Victor to pick up and gaze at longingly like Nikki used to do every week with the kids when her "job" used to be walking around the living room wringing her hands. Not even a damn video of Vic & Sabrina's happy times edited together with their favorite love song.

Why does Nikki think Victor is going to answer her phone calls when he won’t even allow her on the property? What part of "leave me alone" doesn't she get?

What’s with Phyllis saying she has a “HUGE stake” in Restless Style? Forgive me if I’m wrong, but Nick shelled out the $ for their half of the investment to begin with, and his daddy covered the loan for Jack’s share this week. So what IS her contribution? Other than being the best (and apparently the only) web master in the Free World? We know this because she reminds us ever so frequently.

Why would the Mexican authorities contact the Genoa City DA’s office? No one knows about Victor’s connection to Walter in Mexico and as far as everyone knows, he drowned during a storm. Even so, Victor has nothing to worry about as far as Heather is concerned. We’ve all seen her case solving “skills”. Gotta laugh though at how the show’s producers aren’t missing the opportunity to show her in her underwear every chance they can. Good thing. Lord knows she has no "assets" when it comes to beings an assistant DA.

Congrats to Nikki on once again magically curing her addiction. First it was the pill addiction she magically cured during a cruise. Now it’s the alcoholism. Even though she drank herself under the table in Mexico, she hasn’t touched a drink since. It must be the power of her love for Victor that’s “curing” her. If I strain really hard, I can hear the sound of tiny violins...

Colleen thinks Daniel wants a “girl who won’t cheat on him the minute his back is turned.” Hmm, guess that leaves her out then. Didn’t she sleep with da Professor while dating JT?

Did Gloria really think getting her hands on some stock would be as simple as telling Katherine she had some lame ass dream in which John told her to ask for some of his shares of Jabot as a gift? Does she think Katherine’s that gullible? “What a wonderful way to honor your friend.“ And how much stock is out there? Jack sold his, Katherine has 51% and Glo and Jeff have been busy “buying up shares” for weeks now. Wouldn’t the Abbott family own the largest portion of the other 49%? As well as Jill? Sounds like another case of the writers thinking the viewers are stupid. BTW, I've been reading that Ashley comes back for good. Wouldn't surprise me. They're not using her at all now on B&B.

HOW LONG is that big baby Jack going to keep boo hoo'ing about losing Jabot? FUCKING get over it already. If he tears up about it one more time, I’m gonna puke.

Kevin still has an IT job with Jabot?! We know this because he’s there all the times. Seriously, I can't remember the last time he set foot in their offices, but I'm sure he was committing a crime at the time.

let's spot the inconsistencies!

When did Paul become judge and jury? Because he THINKS Chow killed JiMin and planted evidence to frame Victor and Jack, it’s an automatic fact now? And what gives with the cop giving him all the information on the case, as well as JT, simply because Paul’s old man USED to be a cop? Heather shows up to assure Jabot isn’t liable when the police haven’t even done their report yet? WTH? If anyone was liable, wouldn't it be the limo company? Then Heather and Paul are allowed to trample all through a “designated crime scene”? Do the initials O.J. ring a bell to anyone?

Katherine said Jill sent fear and chaos through Jabot’s “highest corporate level”? Um, hello? Aren’t Katherine and Jill and Nikki Jabot’s “highest corporate level”?

If Chloe only slept with Cane a week or so ago, how could she even be a candidate for an ultrasound this early?

The writers have got to get Glo and Jeff OUT of the pool house. Surely they can afford to remodel so it doesn’t look like the same set. Having them live there is like expecting us to believe Candy Spelling would live in a Motel 6.

Victoria just HAD to apologize to Sabrina, then she gets in there and starts talking about the old days of their friendship. She knows Sabrina is dying, but doesn’t bother to say, “I love you,” or “I’m sorry I misjudged you" when she leaves. This is probably setting us up for weeks of “why didn’t I apologize when I had the chance?!” angst.

While the show is more interesting, I’m not sure if it’s the stories that are more interesting or pointing out all of the inconsistencies in the writer’s sloppy work that’s got me happy.

today's show stuff

If Gloria is the receptionist for all of Jabot, why is she putting calls through to Jill? Why aren't the calls being forwarded to Jill's administrative assistant aka her secretary?

For the love of GOD, I wish the writers would marry Kevin and Jana already! I'm sick of hearing about this wedding. Almost as much as I'm sick of hearing about karma and prosperity and good luck.

How pathetic is Chloe that she has to invite herself to Lily's party?

revoke her parental license!

Gloria wants to adopt a KID?! Why? Because she didn't screw the other two up badly enough?!

GROSS ALERT!!!

Isn't this the most AWKWARD KISS you've ever seen?! Like two guppies kissing. Or gasping for their last breath. I'm not sure which.
