I really hope he wins
Aside from that one bad meltdown at the GC Athletic Club when he realized Patti was his sister, Doug Davidson has really been putting his heart and soul into this role. He's up for a Daytime Emmy and I hope he wins. He certainly deserves it. I have NO IDEA why Peter Bergman was nominated. He's done nothing but wince and stare off into the distance for most of this year. The same way he does most years.

neeeeeeigh
When Abby leaned over a critically injured Victor and said, "I love you, Daddy," I have expected her to add, "and I love all the stuff you buy me, especially my million dollar horse! ByyyyyE!" Why is Abby's acting ability suddenly D.O.A.? When she first came on the show, she was really good. When she told Jack off the other day, she was really bad. Seriously. Bad. Everything was ranted in a rather monotone, whiny voice, instead of with emotion.
I thought the female doctor on today's (Monday) show was excellent, although I can't believe they didn't bring Olivia back for that scene. I was beginning to think she was the only doctor on staff.
Interesting how neither Nick nor Victoria shed any tears today. Paul's scenes, on the other hand, were much better than they had been. None of that weird ass finger pointing and no melt down scenes in which he ended up looking like Munch's model for The Scream.

users and losers
So by now it's well known that Mary Jane is really Paul Williams' sister, Patti.
I can't help but wonder what Paul's going to think when he finds out that good ole Victor brought his obviously mentally unstable sister to Genoa City to ruin Jack.
Great show on Friday with Phillip returning rom the dead, but they're going to need more of a storyline than a "sorry, I was gay and drinking and couldn't deal with it" to convince me that abandoning your wife and child was justified.

who writes this shit?
I nearly fell off my chair laughing Friday when Paul said Lily was a 'very good judge of character'.
First, we have Kevin, preying on underage girls.
Secondly, we have Daniel, her ex-husband, the porno junkie who contributed to her almost getting raped at the Rec Center.
Then we have Billy, who can't control his drinking or his sleeping around.
Now we have Cane, who is also apparently hiding a big secret.
Yep, she's a GREAT judge of character.
That line must have been written by the same person who had Victor telling Nick that "children need stability." How would HE know?

when boring and melodramatically boring collide
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Those bastards at Y&R are putting Nikki and Paul in a relationship.
I KNEW they were spending way too much time together. Yuck.

I predict...
that because Paul found Skye's body in the same place David boarded Nikki's horse, that Paul will conclude David was the murderer and that will make it gospel fact.
I just hope she has her cell with her so they can nail Brad's ass to the wall for creating a good bit of this mess and indirectly causing her death.

The Gospel Accoring to Paul
"On the patio, Paul agrees to look into Skye's disappearance for Heather, then updates the Louisiana police department found a car reported stolen in GC - with a suit stuffed in the trunk. Was Walter wearing a dark blue suit by any chance? He was - but Heather fears he could be anywhere in the world by now."
OMG! If it's a dark blue suit then the car MUST BE Walter's! Oy. Could the writer's be any sloppier? This is almost as bad as Paul surmising David's actions and everyone taking it as gospel.
"Heather wonders if she should call her old boss, Dennis Elroy - there could be more murders Chow's responsible for. He could meet us here. Paul agrees - good thinking - but meet with him alone - and show him you have what it takes to bust a case wide open."
Sitting back and letting Daddy do your work is NOT having what it takes to "bust a case wide open." Fact of the matter is, Heather just sat there looking at the picture of Walter wondering who he was, and she never once solved a case for the DA's office.

let's spot the inconsistencies!
When did Paul become judge and jury? Because he THINKS Chow killed JiMin and planted evidence to frame Victor and Jack, it’s an automatic fact now? And what gives with the cop giving him all the information on the case, as well as JT, simply because Paul’s old man USED to be a cop? Heather shows up to assure Jabot isn’t liable when the police haven’t even done their report yet? WTH? If anyone was liable, wouldn't it be the limo company? Then Heather and Paul are allowed to trample all through a “designated crime scene”? Do the initials O.J. ring a bell to anyone?
Katherine said Jill sent fear and chaos through Jabot’s “highest corporate level”? Um, hello? Aren’t Katherine and Jill and Nikki Jabot’s “highest corporate level”?
If Chloe only slept with Cane a week or so ago, how could she even be a candidate for an ultrasound this early?
The writers have got to get Glo and Jeff OUT of the pool house. Surely they can afford to remodel so it doesn’t look like the same set. Having them live there is like expecting us to believe Candy Spelling would live in a Motel 6.
Victoria just HAD to apologize to Sabrina, then she gets in there and starts talking about the old days of their friendship. She knows Sabrina is dying, but doesn’t bother to say, “I love you,” or “I’m sorry I misjudged you" when she leaves. This is probably setting us up for weeks of “why didn’t I apologize when I had the chance?!” angst.
While the show is more interesting, I’m not sure if it’s the stories that are more interesting or pointing out all of the inconsistencies in the writer’s sloppy work that’s got me happy.

mystery solved
All this time no one could solve the JiMin murder mystery and Paul solves it in one hour while at his office aka the coffee shop? Puhleeze. (Can you say "tying up LML's loose ends, kids?) I love how he works out of the Athletic Club or the coffee shop. He doesn't even have a secretary anymore. Just a briefcase and the determination to solve crimes....LOL. Nah, I'm kidding. Just the briefcase.

no shit, sherlock
AHA! I knew Chow killed JiMin. He was just too sleazy, which is probably why I can’t stand him.
Love the way Heather considered having the wrong name on a contract a “minor” error. And she’s suddenly determined to solve the JiMin thing when she never had ability to do it when she was the D.A.? I also love how she made the leap from Jill’s bad mood to “Jill’s pissed I didn’t solve the JiMin thing” especially when Victoria TOLD her Jill was reaming out everyone. I thought it was hilarious when Heather told Paul she used to look at cold case files, but never solved any. LOL. That’s typical of her entire tenure as D.A. And what’s with Heather doing the cold case stuff on Jabot company time? “If there is a way to find out who killed JiMin, I will find him. And I will find him on the company dime, if it’s the last thing I do.”
Quick! Someone call 911! Jana’s lips are stuck to Sabrina’s ass and will require an immediate surgical removal! BTW, marrying Victor Newman doesn’t automatically make HIS family YOUR family.
Amelia Heline is looking really good lately.

thoughts on friday's show
I love how Phyllis keeps yammering on and on about how it will cost FIVE MILLION DOLLARS to create an animated character for the website. I thought that was part of HER JOB?
Considering all the stuff that Michael Baldwin has done in his life, I find it rather ironic that he expects his father to be a big hero.
How does Paul make any money when he gives his services away for free? You don’t see Michael giving him free legal representation.
