according to book of y&r spoilers

"Victor shares a kiss with Sabrina." It's bad enough that Eric Forrester is doing the nasty with much younger Donna, now Victor apparently gets it on with Sabrina. Does anybody else think Sabrina might have something to do with that whole--dare I even say the word?--reliquary bullshit?

" Brad sets a plan in motion to get rid of the pesky David by luring him back into his old bad habit - gambling!" Nikki, what in the world were you thinking, not only bringing that loser Brad Carlton aboard but David Chow as well? Stop thinking with your hormones and dump both of these losers, especially Chow. Once she found out about his gambling problem, she should never have kept him on. Putting him in a position of authority where he no doubt has access to Jabot finances was a big no-no.

"Michael makes a decision about Gloria." I certainly hope he disowns her manipulative ass. What a horrible mother she continues to be, even after all of her whining about how she was so sorry she wasn't there for Kevin or Michael. She still isn't! She consistently uses both of these "men"--and I use that word lightly, considering they couldn't come up with a pair of balls between the two of them--dragging them into her illegal schemes time and time again. How sad that Michael doesn't even think enough of his wife and son to tell Glo to go fly a kite!

"A shocking surprise is in store for Lily!" Puhleeze do NOT let this immature Valley Girl wannabe be pregnant. The last thing this shows needs is an unwed mother. Besides, getting fat will spoil all her modeling goals. Lily is yet another example of the writers faking up a "life long dream career" on the spur of the moment. Remember Kevin? All he cared about was being a pedophile and manipulating young teen girls. Suddenly, he's a computer genius! Does he even WORK at Jabot anymore? Extra points if you can tell me what he does there. Then there was Daniel. We never even saw him so much as shake it like a Polariod picture, and suddenly he's got this burning desire to be a photog! Now Lily, who showed no sign of wanting to get into modeling suddenly has all these noble aspirations to starve herself and wear clothes marked "haute couture"--if 'haute couture' means ugly. Who's next? Amber working towards her secret dream of entering the convent and becoming the bride of Jesus?

hair today, gone tomor--nope still hair

I think TPTB are sorry they killed off John Abbot's character, hence this goofy Alistair, look alike. Ever notice when they have a "look alike" on the soaps they SOUND exactly like the person, too? Amazing how that happens, even with Shelia and all of her goofy plastic surgeries, she ended up sounding exactly like Phyllis. Heck, she even ended up being the same height and weight! Now that's excellent surgery!

I can deal with Alistair a lot better than I can the ghost of John Abbott. It amazed me how John was dead and yet he still sported a bad toupee and a loud orange tan job in Heaven. Now that I think about it, sounds more like he was in Hell.

picture perfect

I love the new warehouse/online zine space they're showing. Nick paid all that money for renovations and you can only access the balcony/terrace via a window? Dude, you wuz robbed. I have to admit though, I've never seen a warehouse that had a balcony/terrace.
And who in their right mind pays for renovations without having the place rewired FIRST?! That repair guy could smell Newman money a mile away.

What's with all those rows and rows of books lining the shelves of the new space? Is it an online magazine or a library?

I love the way Amber and Daniel were so grateful to get a job, and yet they're never actually at work. They're way too busy planning their own business venture: Amber designing crappy clothes and Daniel doing whatever talent the writers will suddenly endow upon him, claiming his lifetime interest in it. Hell, Daniel--the crackerjack photog--wasn't even taking pictures at the opening FOR the magazine!

Welcome!

I've been watching The Young and The Restless for years, and I want to use this blog to discuss the show's strengths (if there are any) and weaknesses (and there are plenty of those).
