What is Chloe smoking?! She’s going to give Nikki a “not so subtle reminder” of what Lily is “worth” to the company? Puhleeze. You see what she’s worth to the company. Restless Style didn’t hesitate to bump her off the cover of the magazine because she’s a NOBODY. There are a million pretty faces that could replace her in a heartbeat. And after the way she mouthed off to Nikki, maybe she should remind Chloe there are a million managers out there who could replace her, as well.

My finger is sore from all the ff'ing through the Restless Style "drama". It's as I feared, "the magazine will be published on time," "it won't be published on time".

And what were these four thinking when they banded together to work on a daily basis when they can't even get along?

I sincerely HOPE the writers come up with some drama that doesn't revolve around the four suckateers. It is TOO REPETITIVE and too reminiscent of Jabot's "teetering on the edge of bankruptcy" every week.

I don't even understand when this became a paper magazine. It was supposed to be an online magazine. Paper magazines are going the way of the dinasaur, as is evidenced by the many that are offering their magazines these days for $1 a copy.

It's ridiculous that four "executives" at Restless Style all continue to do the same job, looking over each other's shoulders, kvetching about stupid things like fonts. How is the magazine ever going to survive their pettiness?

I'm not surprised David and Nikki are eloping this week. TPTB are going to want them to be married when the gambling bomb gets dropped on Nikki. More fallout that way.

I knew when she mentioned four months on Friday that something was going to change. I wonder if finding out that Victor is getting married is her impetus to rush things ahead?

mid-week rant

Lily had a miscarriage last week and when Colleen asked her about it today, she said, “The past is the past.” Geez, that was a fast recovery.

I wonder if Jana put her criminal history on her application for the Newman "Gallery"? And give me a break with this whole "gallery" thing. This is just Victor keeping his piece o'ass happy. He never showed the slightest interest in "building a collection". And is Sabrina going to report to him on every damn piece she buys?

I LOL’ed at Sabrina’s description of Victor as “surprisingly kind”. Yeah, he’s so kind he’s alienated his entire family, save the bastard child.

“Your mother would blink when she was troubled about something.” Good grief. Who writes this crap? People blink all the time.

Wouldn’t it be FANTASTIC if Jr. moved to the ranch and TGVN caught him in bed with Sabrina?

Go Nikki!

Nikki was giving it as good as she was getting it Tuesday in her conversations with Jill. When Jill pointed out that nepotism was nice, Nikki reminded her that indeed it was considering Katherine was her mother.

Then later when Jill tried to rile Nikki by bringing up the fact that she hired her daughter, Nikki neatly countered by mentioning Jill hiring Cane. At least Victoria has experience in the field she was hired in, which is more than Cane has.

I think Jill needs to get up off Nikki's ass. She is no longer in charge and I don't think Nikki should have to run to her with every change.

Isn't Brad the sneaky bitch lately trying to rile Jill?

and the emmy goes to....

After reading through the Daytime Emmy noms, I have to wonder if the folks who voted for these noms are even WATCHING these shows.

For instance, Bryton McClure?! OUTSTANDING young actor? No offense, but Devon could be dumped from Y&R in a heartbeat and no one would even notice.

And OUTSTANDING young actress, Heather, Jana AND Colleen?! UGH. Ditto all three of these being dumped and not noticed. Gee, can't believe Lily wasn't in that mess.

Neil and Kevin for outstanding supporting actors? Neil spends all his time kissing TGVN's ass and Kevin is hardly on. (Thank goodness.)

Supporting actress Lauren? Meh. Who cares?

Lead actor, Jack and Michael. Jack is nomm'ed like every year. I can't stand Peter Bergman's "acting". Confusion, sorrow and fear all look the same: Peter squinting off into the distance.
Michael isn't too bad, but what great storyline did he have this past year? Last year was the year of the disasterous Clear Springs eps--you know, the ones that were going to change the face of Y&R forever? That being the case, I'm surprised ANYONE from Y&R was nominated.

Lead actress, Phyllis and Katherine. Phyllis was pretty good when Nick was "killed" in the plane crash and his subsequent memory loss. Katherine isn't on screen for weeks at a time, and even the finding Cane thing didn't require much of her on screen presence.

The person who seems to be getting the most screen time on Y&R? Gloria. No nom. Go figger.

today's rant

Could Sharon look any more uncomfortable around Nick and Phyllis? What in the world possessed her to want to work with these two?

One of Nick's clues concerned their honeymoon. How could Nick possibly remember their honeymoon night when he supposedly hasn't gotten his memory back?

And I wish Victoria would GET OUT OF NEWMAN!! Her old man does not value her.
