dinner and a movie

I love how Victoria and her family just drop in and invite themselves at the last minute to Thanksgiving dinner. And then how Nick calls Ashley at the last minute and intends to invite her and her two kids.

I would be FREAKING OUT adding six extra people to the dinner table!

I thought it was really cute the way Summer put crayons in the turkey.

Damn. Not only has the incredibly hott and sexy Shemar Moore been replaced in his role as Malcolm, the new actor playing him used to be on ABC's Family Matters. Ugh.

Darius McCrary is slated to play Malcolm Winters, and his first scene will air December 29th.

I'm curious to see how he's going to explain why he never bothered to be there for Lily when they found out she had cancer.

I'm gonna miss Shemar....and his rock hard abs. Sigh.

shame on you, Y&R

I think one of the WORST things Y&R is doing right now concerns the character of Billy.

He is CONSTANTLY seen drinking--mostly to excess--and driving, and often times goes right from the bar to pick up his baby.

WTH, Y&R?! Could you be a tad more irresponsible with your messages? And why in the world would Kay's granddaughter buy a BAR of all things, when her grandmother is an alcoholic?

Michael Baldwin USED to have a law practice.

Now he basically spends his time representing family and the Newmans. And he must get one hell of a whopping retainer from the Newmans because no matter what Victor needs done, be it legal work or picking up the dry cleaning, he seems to call Michael to take care of it.

Interesting to see the writers turning Ashley into a watchable character after all the crap she's been dealt lately. It will be fun to see her and Junior get into business only to find out that Junior is her worst enemy.

I'm hating this Amber/Daniel stuff. She's a grown ass woman and yet she talks like a freaking BABY. When are they going to age this character already?! She's not a whiney teen anymore and yet she still speaks like one.

Ashley is she's going around telling everyone that she wants to concentrate on her kids right now. She doesn't want to work. Yet here she is trying to buy up Chancellor stock...proving she IS psycho;)

picture perfect

I think the biggest problem I'm having with this cancer storyline is that Lily is the picture of health.

No matter what she's going through, her makeup is perfect. She didn't even break a sweat with her high fever, and other than the scarves, you'd never know there was anything wrong with her. Heck, they don't even smudge the makeup under her eye to make her look drawn.

On another matter, I LOVE Eileen Davidson's short new do. Very cute!

the show needs new writers

I HATE IT when they bring on young characters who make total buffoons of the adults, like Daniel and Amber and Kevin/Jana did with the bank folks, and like Daisy did with Lauren.

A few flattering comments and Lauren is ready to hire her based on Amber's word? Puhleeze. Like Amber is the voice of maturity and sensibility.

Anybody ever heard of "reference checks" on these shows?
