one hairy mess

Ok, I get that Patti is nuts and doesn't have access to a brush and comb...

But what the hell is VICTORIA'S excuse?! She hasn't brushed that rat's nest all day!
As if that beach scene wasn't painful enough to watch in the first place...

oh baby baby

Now that I've seen today's show, and Billy made that crack about sex while wearing a mask, I can't help but wonder if Victoria doesn't think she's having sex with Billy, but it's with JT and she winds up pregnant, in another "who's the daddy?" scenario?

And we KNOW Adam or someone we think is Adam will be offed because everyone has threatened him--including Ashley and Nick today--and everyone has had a witness--the guard and the maid at the Ranch.

stealing time

I LMAO today when Victoria said, “Every where I look, I see things that remind me of Brad.” You know that’s bound to happen WHEN YOU’RE STANDING IN THE MAN’S LIVING ROOM. Duh.

What’s with Sharon’s kleptomaniac tendencies? That was tacky of her to steal something of Brad’s. She should have asked for a token knick knack.

family matters

Why in the world does TGVN keep mooning over that kid he lost? He should be grateful. It’s just one more kid he won’t have to ignore when it grows up. And who in the WORLD is HE to be giving advice about family?! He told Victoria--just one of the children he treats like crap when he feels like it--that her loved ones could be ripped away at any moment so she should cherish them. Yeah, the same way he “cherishes” his kids. Wonder how long before he’s ignoring NuAbby?

I seriously doubt rich folk hide a key in the shrubs by the front door. LOL! I loved that scene. I was just surprised it wasn’t under the doormat or in a fake rock.

me, me, me

Like mother, like daughter. Victoria has learned well from Mommy.

First, Victoria turns Sabrina's death into a "me? why me?!" thing, saying it was all her fault.

Now, Nikki is to blame for Chow, Sabrina AND Katherine's death. Geez, she's got quite the growing list of sins.

every picture tells a story

Katherine is Chloe/Kate's godmother and yet she didn't recognize her? All these years, Esther has never shown her a picture of Kate? Sloppy writing there.

I LMAO when Victor wrote "....YOU carry the very spirit and sole of Victor Newman - the best parts of me - charity, generosity and forgiveness..." to Victoria. FORGIVENESS?! The man doesn't know the meaning of the word.

Victor gives Sabrina's things to charity, Heather ships Victor's crap to Good Will and now Katherine sends all the party food to the homeless shelter? Hell, those po' folks in GC are living high on the hog lately.

it figures

I'm beginning to see why Heather has never won a case in the D.A.'s office. Victoria told Jr. to get his crap out of the Newman ranch pronto with Heather standing right beside him. Did she inform him that you can't throw someone out without a 30 day written notice? Nope.

As much as I hate Adam, and I do, I think Victoria is being petty. Victor DID want Adam at the ranch, and he's not causing any problem being there.

thoughts on today's show

I love how Nick is concerned about his dad and his half brother, and in the very same breath he starts talking about sex with Phyllis. What a leap. Next thing you see “worried” Adam is making out with Heather in the Newman living room. Sweet how everyone is off worrying themselves sick about Victor.

Lauren said to Michael, “Honey, you’re looking for your dad and Victor. You must be exhausted.” Geez, it’s not like he’s out there physically doing any LOOKING.

Chloe gets released from the hospital and the doctor tells her to rest with her feet up so she goes out to a nightclub to do that? She’s going to make a fine mother.

I hardly think Victoria and Nicholas see Adam as any sort of threat, as suggested by Heather. And how crass of her to say, “some day all of this will be yours” when Adam’s father is missing.

Watching that self-righteous Devon lecture Cane was a hoot.

Even in a foreign country Victor Newman manages to find some peon kid to do his work for him. Kid should have told him to get his own damn meds.

You know how I brought up all the awkward hugging that goes on in TV land amongst the guy friends? You know the “pat slap”? They also do the weird handshake thing. Not the normal handshake but more of a fist bump.

clue me in, will ya?

How does taking a spit test from Cane and a blood test from Chloe prove who the father of her baby is? Shouldn't they be testing the fluid the baby is in via amnio? Of course, Chloe's baby wouldn't even be IN an amniotic sac yet because it's supposedly only two - three weeks old and to do this test the baby needs to be 14 - 20 weeks old. They didn't perform a CVS either.

Remember when Brad tried to prove he was the father of Vikki's baby and they had to do an amnio to prove that? They said it was dangerous and she wanted to wait. They didn't do it via any spit test or blood work.

This isn't making any sense to me.

doctor doctor gimme the news

Nick told Victoria that she needn't worry about calling her mother because Sabrina's mother probably already knew she was dead from the newscasts?

They would not have released news of her death before the family had time to be notified.

Ok, Victoria, we get it

The Universe DOES revolve around you. Poor poor pitiful you for not being able to accept Victor's marriage to your friend. And we get it that now that she's dead, Sabrina has been elevated to sainthood.

What was the point of Victor Jr. even calling himself Adam Wilson when everyone knows he's Vic Jr anyway? And isn't he getting a swelled head lately?

FYI, Victor, Nikki did NOT bring David Chow into your life, YOU DID. He came to town to vindicate Carmen Mesta's death and YOU hired him to run Jack's political campaign. Choke on that, Mustache. I hate it when the writers are sloppy and don't bother to review the history of the character. They can split hairs and say Nikki brought David into the family, but he never would have been in their lives had Victor not hired him to begin with, so essentially he is the one that set their romance into motion.

let's spot the inconsistencies!

When did Paul become judge and jury? Because he THINKS Chow killed JiMin and planted evidence to frame Victor and Jack, it’s an automatic fact now? And what gives with the cop giving him all the information on the case, as well as JT, simply because Paul’s old man USED to be a cop? Heather shows up to assure Jabot isn’t liable when the police haven’t even done their report yet? WTH? If anyone was liable, wouldn't it be the limo company? Then Heather and Paul are allowed to trample all through a “designated crime scene”? Do the initials O.J. ring a bell to anyone?

Katherine said Jill sent fear and chaos through Jabot’s “highest corporate level”? Um, hello? Aren’t Katherine and Jill and Nikki Jabot’s “highest corporate level”?

If Chloe only slept with Cane a week or so ago, how could she even be a candidate for an ultrasound this early?

The writers have got to get Glo and Jeff OUT of the pool house. Surely they can afford to remodel so it doesn’t look like the same set. Having them live there is like expecting us to believe Candy Spelling would live in a Motel 6.

Victoria just HAD to apologize to Sabrina, then she gets in there and starts talking about the old days of their friendship. She knows Sabrina is dying, but doesn’t bother to say, “I love you,” or “I’m sorry I misjudged you" when she leaves. This is probably setting us up for weeks of “why didn’t I apologize when I had the chance?!” angst.

While the show is more interesting, I’m not sure if it’s the stories that are more interesting or pointing out all of the inconsistencies in the writer’s sloppy work that’s got me happy.

it is soooooooooo not cool of the writers

to be shoving this kid down our throats!!!!!!

"Vikki and JT stop by with Reed - and are on their way to Indigo to hear Ana - who JT thinks should sing at the gala."

i believe the world is coming to an end

Since when does Restless Style have “hundreds of employees” as per Jack’s comment? We see at the most about ten other people besides the Not So Fab Four. I noticed another receptionist sitting in Amber’s seat today. I guess they need a receptionist that actually does some work.

When did Victoria talk to Adrian and give him all those quotes Jack used in the article? Quotes that sounded more like stuff she told her dad, stuff that Jack could not know. I must have missed that part.

I loved the way Victor told Sabrina to go to the charity ball luncheon and “anybody looks at you sideways, you spit them in the eye.” Great way to raise funds…spitting at the potential donors.

Go Nikki!

Nikki was giving it as good as she was getting it Tuesday in her conversations with Jill. When Jill pointed out that nepotism was nice, Nikki reminded her that indeed it was considering Katherine was her mother.

Then later when Jill tried to rile Nikki by bringing up the fact that she hired her daughter, Nikki neatly countered by mentioning Jill hiring Cane. At least Victoria has experience in the field she was hired in, which is more than Cane has.

I think Jill needs to get up off Nikki's ass. She is no longer in charge and I don't think Nikki should have to run to her with every change.

Isn't Brad the sneaky bitch lately trying to rile Jill?

ya got to have friends

Phyllis was only asked to be godmother because Victoria doesn't have any "other" friends. Before the writers manufactured Sabrina, she didn't have any, nor did she mention any when she returned from Italy. She jumped at the chance to say 'yes.' I guess she conveniently forgot how nasty Victoria was to her and how quickly Victoria dumped her bridesmaid gig when Phyllis & Nick got married. What about the cold shoulder Victoria and her snotty mother gave her when they were planning Nick's "funeral"? And Nick said yesterday that they were "always best of friends"? Puhleeze.

the young and the zen

In yesterday's episode of Y&R, Nick and Victoria go to the coffeehouse together with the baby in the stroller. I thought it was funny that before they sat down, Victoria pushed the strolled BEHIND her chair and it was there for the entire scene. Great mom. The kid could be choking and she’d never notice.

I had to laugh at Jana going on and on about how she meditated and did all sorts of New Agey stuff with her “mum”…..yet she turned into a murderer anyway. Just a couple months ago, she was into Goth. If one more person mentions the words “karma” or “fate,“ I’m going to upchuck. The last few days I feel like I’m watching an episode of “My Name is Jana.”

i will be your father figure

How naive is worldly Victoria that she can't figure out her old man and Sabrina are having an affair? She walked in on them standing toe to toe how many times now and yet it comes as a big shock to her when she finds out they're doing the nasty? And isn't she a little old to be wishing Mommy and Daddy would get back together when she sees how toxic those two are together?
