I nearly fell off my chair laughing Friday when Paul said Lily was a 'very good judge of character'.

First, we have Kevin, preying on underage girls.

Secondly, we have Daniel, her ex-husband, the porno junkie who contributed to her almost getting raped at the Rec Center.

Then we have Billy, who can't control his drinking or his sleeping around.

Now we have Cane, who is also apparently hiding a big secret.

Yep, she's a GREAT judge of character.

The birth/death of her daughter didn't do it, near death of her son didn't do it, her son surviving premature birth didn't do it, getting raped didn't do it, but falling in love with Nick did.

If the forger didn't think enough of his family to stay and support them, why would he care if his family was taken care of in exchange for info?

How stupid was Phyllis to reveal that she knew about Jack’s credit cards before she sent the information to Sharon? She should have kept her mouth shut about what she knew before she played her hand. Jack is going to go straight to her.

Can’t wait to see Nick’s reaction when he realizes the cover of Restless Style was shot in Paris. And who’s running the magazine? When there were FOUR people in charge, they had to be there every moment, micromanaging each other, working late at night, figuring out who was going to grace the cover. Now, no one is there. Why is it that every time Jack is a “bad boy” he tries to bribe Sharon with a trip or a weekend away? He’s such a jerk, and his own worst enemy. He treats women like this all the time. He lies and hides things, then gives the little boy pout/ far away thinking expression and tries to placate them with stupid platitudes. I can’t stand him.

Love how Nick just decides on his own that he’s going to Europe and not coming back till he finds Victor. Nice how he talks things over with his wife. Like father, like son.

All the kid said was, "The bug scared me." Puhleeze. Heather isn't smart enough to figure out she's talking about a listening device and not a real bug.

friday's rant o-rama

The writers have GOT to be shitting us. A week or so ago, Nikki throws a chair through Victor's window and instead of REPAIRING THE DAMN THING, it's still there?! Only Victor Newman would have guards at his gate, guards at his front door and a gaping hole in the side of his house. Oy. Heaven forbid GC gets a rainstorm....

What gives with Daniel’s goofy Charlie Chaplin look? And his "incredible" drawings that simply rocked the art world? Puhleeze. They looked like one of those “draw the turtle” sketches from the “do you think you have what it takes to be an artist?” ad. Although the bowl of fruit did speak to me. Made me hungry for an apple.

I can’t help but laugh every time Phyllis or Nick or Sharon or Jack act like they’ve been putting out RS for years. Today Phyllis said, “This stuff happens all the time.” They’ve only been publishing for a couple months. How would she know it happens “all the time”?

I’m not liking Colleen lately at all. She and Daniel agreed it was a rebound thing and she only went after him when she realized he still had feelings for Amber.

The sum total of Phyllis’ dialogue today was something like this: “Blah blah Nick blah Nick. Nick blah Nick blah blah Nick Nick blah.”
