family matters

Why in the world does TGVN keep mooning over that kid he lost? He should be grateful. It’s just one more kid he won’t have to ignore when it grows up. And who in the WORLD is HE to be giving advice about family?! He told Victoria--just one of the children he treats like crap when he feels like it--that her loved ones could be ripped away at any moment so she should cherish them. Yeah, the same way he “cherishes” his kids. Wonder how long before he’s ignoring NuAbby?

I seriously doubt rich folk hide a key in the shrubs by the front door. LOL! I loved that scene. I was just surprised it wasn’t under the doormat or in a fake rock.

me, me, me

Like mother, like daughter. Victoria has learned well from Mommy.

First, Victoria turns Sabrina's death into a "me? why me?!" thing, saying it was all her fault.

Now, Nikki is to blame for Chow, Sabrina AND Katherine's death. Geez, she's got quite the growing list of sins.

doctor doctor gimme the news

Nick told Victoria that she needn't worry about calling her mother because Sabrina's mother probably already knew she was dead from the newscasts?

They would not have released news of her death before the family had time to be notified.

gawd, who didn't see this one coming?

Victoria, after Sabrina died: "I never got to apologize."

Not like ya didn't have the perfect opportunity.

jack has been reading too much of his own press

Sharon (about Sabrina): "If you knew what you knew now, would you have done anything differently?"

Jack: "No. That article put Sabrina on the map." What is she? A state? "It immortalized her." As a slut. "Anybody who didn't buy a copy of Restless Style is going to buy one now because they want to know more about the life of this beautiful woman whose life was cut too short." Geez, he's really noble to have printed that garbage about her, isn't he? You just KNOW he's going to print that photo that he supposedly bought to "protect" the family's privacy. What would HE know about that?!

Way to go, Phyllis, for letting Jack have it.

i think i'm moving but i go nowhere

Victor: “Sabrina’s friends are always welcome.” What friends?! She was so desperate for a Maid of Honor when Victoria refused that she had to ask her assistant.

Doctor: “She’s putting up quite a fight.”
Michael: “Thanks to you, Victor.”
Doctor: “She’s holding her own.”
Michael: “Without Victor’s intervention, do you think she would have even gotten this far?”
Oh, GAWD, the ass kissing in this show is unbelievable! Makes me think Eric B wrote this entire storyline.

Adam is walking around that hospital looking about as interested as a fat man in a health food store.

Katherine: “If I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away, I would.”
Wonder if this is the same magic wand that Bush would wave to lower the gas prices?

Nothing gets past Adrian. Amber answers the door with snot and mascara smeared all over her face and the first thing he says is, “You read the article right? Can you believe this crap?”
Speaking of snot, it’s a good thing Jana wiped hers off her nose before she kissed Sabrina’s head. I don’t think she would have appreciated the snot in her hair.

The DA told Heather she “did good”?! She has NO SOLID PROOF that David Chow killed JiMin, other than Daddy’s speculation. Why do they even need police and attorneys in Genoa City? Just let Paul Williams, crackerjack P.I, to solve the case. And the DA asking her back is almost as funny as her saying there might be a “whole string of unsolved murders” connected to Chow. How many people died in GC in the last few months?!

Great scene with Nikki, Nick and the horse.

Ok, Victoria, we get it

The Universe DOES revolve around you. Poor poor pitiful you for not being able to accept Victor's marriage to your friend. And we get it that now that she's dead, Sabrina has been elevated to sainthood.

What was the point of Victor Jr. even calling himself Adam Wilson when everyone knows he's Vic Jr anyway? And isn't he getting a swelled head lately?

FYI, Victor, Nikki did NOT bring David Chow into your life, YOU DID. He came to town to vindicate Carmen Mesta's death and YOU hired him to run Jack's political campaign. Choke on that, Mustache. I hate it when the writers are sloppy and don't bother to review the history of the character. They can split hairs and say Nikki brought David into the family, but he never would have been in their lives had Victor not hired him to begin with, so essentially he is the one that set their romance into motion.

let's spot the inconsistencies!

When did Paul become judge and jury? Because he THINKS Chow killed JiMin and planted evidence to frame Victor and Jack, it’s an automatic fact now? And what gives with the cop giving him all the information on the case, as well as JT, simply because Paul’s old man USED to be a cop? Heather shows up to assure Jabot isn’t liable when the police haven’t even done their report yet? WTH? If anyone was liable, wouldn't it be the limo company? Then Heather and Paul are allowed to trample all through a “designated crime scene”? Do the initials O.J. ring a bell to anyone?

Katherine said Jill sent fear and chaos through Jabot’s “highest corporate level”? Um, hello? Aren’t Katherine and Jill and Nikki Jabot’s “highest corporate level”?

If Chloe only slept with Cane a week or so ago, how could she even be a candidate for an ultrasound this early?

The writers have got to get Glo and Jeff OUT of the pool house. Surely they can afford to remodel so it doesn’t look like the same set. Having them live there is like expecting us to believe Candy Spelling would live in a Motel 6.

Victoria just HAD to apologize to Sabrina, then she gets in there and starts talking about the old days of their friendship. She knows Sabrina is dying, but doesn’t bother to say, “I love you,” or “I’m sorry I misjudged you" when she leaves. This is probably setting us up for weeks of “why didn’t I apologize when I had the chance?!” angst.

While the show is more interesting, I’m not sure if it’s the stories that are more interesting or pointing out all of the inconsistencies in the writer’s sloppy work that’s got me happy.

i believe the world is coming to an end

Since when does Restless Style have “hundreds of employees” as per Jack’s comment? We see at the most about ten other people besides the Not So Fab Four. I noticed another receptionist sitting in Amber’s seat today. I guess they need a receptionist that actually does some work.

When did Victoria talk to Adrian and give him all those quotes Jack used in the article? Quotes that sounded more like stuff she told her dad, stuff that Jack could not know. I must have missed that part.

I loved the way Victor told Sabrina to go to the charity ball luncheon and “anybody looks at you sideways, you spit them in the eye.” Great way to raise funds…spitting at the potential donors.

you would think....

That when a man has a vasectomy and his wife tells him she's pregnant, that he'd be a tad curious as to how that happens?

Instead, The Great Victor Newman is thrilled and doesn't even PONDER the fact that he shouldn't have been able to get Sabrina preggers at all. Unless he's been lying all this time...

speculation

Rumor has it that Sabrina and child will die in a car accident. I wonder if this is the same murder David Chow is going to pull off? Especially since I also heard Chow is leaving the show. Oh, happy day.

I still think Chow is working for the senator that Jack and Victor brought down. Rest assured, when he goes out, Chow will be blamed for every storyline that wasn't tied up, like the jet sabotage.

accentuating the negative

Phyllis' job is to "save a failing magazine". Geez, issue two and how many times have we heard this piece o'crap rag is in trouble?

I don't know who the actor is that played Philippe, but he sounded more Australian than French. At least Sabrina has a true accent. This dude falls in and out of his accent with every sentence and at times, I expected him to go "ghetto" on us.

here comes the bride...yet again

How in the world did Newman family and friends work up any enthusiasm for the wedding of a man who has been married SEVEN times with two invalid marriages to boot? A total of TEN trips down the aisle? He's worn the damn thing out already.

Poor Sabrina was forced to ask Jana to be in the wedding because there was no one else, not unlike Victoria asking Phyllis to be godmother because again, no one else.

I know this wedding was thrown together on the fly, but could they have found an UGLIER, PLAINER dress for the flower girls?

From the second she tried it on, I kept wanting to push that damn "right sleeve" up into place. Then I realized it was suppose to droop like that. That would drive me nuts!

now I'm REALLY grossed out

Sabrina is pregnant to a 70 year old man?! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Victor can't even establish decent relationships with the children he already has. He has no business bringing more kids into this world.

And now what? Is Nikki going to "miraculously" get pregnant, too, to keep up their silent competition?

man, i feel like a woman

I don't know how it started, but the rumor that Raya Meddine (Sabrina) used to be a guy isn't dying down.

I'm not hazarding a guess. I'm lousy at that sort of stuff.

an classy move on Victor's part

He lets Sabrina ride Nikki's horse even though he knew it hurt Nikki's feelings? Love the way he said, "You're riding her now." Get ready, Sabrina. Your turn is next.

If she REALLY cared about what Vicki thinks, the way she keeps saying she does, she'd break off this affair with Victor. And I STILL think this chick has something to do with that art storyline. Remember the hideous Reliquary storyline? Ugh. I don't think we've heard the last of that.

i will be your father figure

How naive is worldly Victoria that she can't figure out her old man and Sabrina are having an affair? She walked in on them standing toe to toe how many times now and yet it comes as a big shock to her when she finds out they're doing the nasty? And isn't she a little old to be wishing Mommy and Daddy would get back together when she sees how toxic those two are together?
