write right, will ya?

I keep hearing that Y&R has great storylines these days, and I have to disagree.

Two cases in point: the Katherine/Clint thing has pretty much been lifted from the past and Gloria's jail plot line came to the most boring, predictable end you could imagine. Did it surprise ANYONE that Heather lost in court? Hardly.

I think some of their story lines START out good, but go nowhere. Or just disappear. For instance, where is Michael Gross? They made a HUGE deal about him joining the cast of Y&R, bored us with some AWFUL 60's drivel and suddenly, he's gone. As with the last set of writers, they start too ambitiously, then put put too many stories on the back burner. It reminds me of a writer who has a good idea, then thinks, "no wait! this is better! oh, wait! this is even better!" over and over and over....
