"I vant to be alone!"

Only TGVN has the unmitigated audacity to go on tv and ask that nothing be written about him. If that’s not an open invitation for mags to write about him, I don’t know what is. Like the whole world cares about him and his life. Hell, the press doesn‘t even hound Trump to that extent. Gotta love how everyone followed his “leave me alone“ edict. Hours after the airing, Neil shows up, then Nicki forces her way in. Tomorrow it’s Adam.

Estelle to Nicki: “I don’t know what to do. The staff have nowhere to go!” She makes it sound like Victor kicked them all out in the middle of a blinding snow storm. They’re adults. I’m sure they know what the process for signing up for unemployment is. But what a stupid move anyway. Unless Victor plans on eating Hot Pockets for every meal, he’s going to have to rehire a new chef anyway. Ditto with the furniture not dusting itself. The whole set up is lame. He doesn’t want to talk to anyone yet we see him every day. Ugh. Leave home already!

I bet Victor never killed Walter. I bet he either fell overboard accidentally or he fell and Victor did nothing to help him.

How dumb was Nick to allow Jack to show his price for the magazine AFTER they tossed the coin? The idiots should have come up with an agreeable price BEFORE the coin toss. Great business savvy, Nick. And again, why is he dumb enough to buy the magazine when he himself said Jack’s asking price was more than the magazine was even worth. Ego. It’s all about the Newman ego.

Why is Nicki so psycho? Why does she insist on mothering Victor? It’s ridiculous. If Nicki is so worried about the help she should hire them herself.

I love how Adam has no clue as to why Victor was pissed off with his actions. He hires a man Victor hates to run the show, and fires a guy Victor loves. Gee, what could Adam have done wrong? Speaking of Adam, who keeps boo hoo’ing that he got nothing from Daddy but the boot, who paid for that Harvard education of his? I don’t think Hope funded it through sales of homemade jellies and jams.

I’ve never seen so many people bouncing from corporation to corporation as on The Young and the Restless. Vicki is with Newman, then she’s with Jabot, now she’s with Newman. Phyllis did the same thing, bouncing from Newman to Jabot to Newman. It’s insane. Nobody seems to hold their jobs longer than a month anymore.
