Let's see if I have this right: Lily's father is second or third in command at one of the largest corporations in the world AND he owns a bar, her bf is the CEO of Jabot, yet when she's looking for a job, Billy tries to get her one as a freaking BARTENDER?! And she calls him "amazing"?! Way to aim high. Why doesn't she just unload the booze trucks at Daddy's nightclub?
Apparently Esther is even dumber than we all thought. Forget about Tiny, forget about the guy who murdered Rex, she's known this idiot Roger for all of about three days and she's accepting his marriage proposal thinking he truly loves her. Oy.

monday's rant
Esther slept with Roger ON THE FIRST DATE?! Geez, did that twit learn nothing from her experience with "Tiny" when he left her knocked up, and Norman, who killed Rex? Apparently she's a push over in more ways than one.
The Ana storyline isn't making sense to me. Just one call from Yolanda, who has since disappeared and she's taken from Tyra's care. Why hasn't she been returned to Tyra since Yolanda no longer wants her? They haven't even had any sort of a hearing, Karen is pushing to adopt her, and now Rafe says it should be no big deal to adopt her because Yolanda abandoned her. From what I've read, the courts usually discourage foster parents from adopting, but Rafe is saying it's "just a matter of paperwork"? Tyra should be given first chance at adopting Ana.
BTW, I think Karen's being downright creepy about the whole adoption thing. Tyra is her mother. Period.
Abby's million dollar horse is much better than her first horse, StarFire? Geez, so much for her loyalty to pets. I guess they only rate if they have an expensive price tag attached to them. And I'm sure her friends are all agog listening to her ramble on and on about her horse. Awww, she's been raised so well.

I love how Esther had to explain to Jill that Chloe/Kate really WAS her child. As if she wouldn't recognize her own child. And what's with Chloe's "I wasn't good enough to live at the Chancellor Estate" b.s.? Katherine paid for her schooling. Wasn't that enough?

the young and the yawning
No wonder people don’t react anymore when Victor “dies”. This is the fourth time he’s done it. When he finally does die, the kids won’t even bother with a funeral cuz they won’t believe it. Victor “died” back in ‘83 to fool his secretary Eve; he “died” back in ‘93 when he disappeared to Kansas and was mugged. The mugger died in the crash and they ASSumed it was Vic. Back in ‘99, when he was on an island with Nikki, he found out Brad & Jack took over his company so he flew back home and his plane crashed. Once again he was presumed dead.
This will be HILARIOUS: when Victor returns, he walks in on Heather and Adam sexing it up on the living room couch. He glares at them and walks right past them without a word. I can almost smell the scorn. Or is that sperm? Seriously, have these two ever heard of a “bedroom” or “privacy” since apparently everybody and their mother walks through the front door of the “well guarded” ranch.
Then he calls Michael and has him summon Neil to the ranch because apparently Michael is now Victor’s personal secretary. He reinstates Neil--can’t wait to see the look on smug Brad’s face when he finds out he played both ends and lost. But this upsets me--Victoria and Nicholas race to the ranch to see Victor, but he refuses to see them. He has “some things to straighten out”. Bullshit. Then Victor calls Adam in and in a few short words dismisses him from the company and boots him off the ranch. YAY! Apparently in Victor’s letter to Adam, he asked him to share with his brother and sister, which he refused to do. I just wonder if this means Nick and Victoria will have to give back their crummy “inheritance”? I have to admit, it was an absolute hoot when Victoria tried to make it seem like she and Nick were thrilled with their crappy “gifts” and she said to Adam, “All you got was money. I hope it makes you happy,” and he said with smug smile, “It does.” LOL! I’m with ya on that one, Adam.
Apparently Chloe/Kate hasn’t told mama Esther of her arrival in Genoa City because she’s deeply ashamed of her mother. Yeah, this from a greedy chick who forced an innocent man to marry her and is lying about the father of her baby. I still it’s Billy. They’re not bringing him back for nothing, and the way the results of the DNA test was worded leads me to that conclusion. They did NOT say, “Cane is the father,” they said Cane’s DNA was in the same grouping as the baby’s father. My guess is she found out about Cane while sexing it up with Billy and she moved to GC to stake her claim. Esther shows up at Crimson Lights in that ridiculous maid’s outfit--who WEARS those things outside of Halloween parties?!--and Chloe/Kate is mortified. Sorry, can’t work up any sympathy for poor Chloe. There's nothing shameful in doing an honest day's work for an honest day's pay.
A lot of people online are complaining about Ana’s constant singing. One even asked if “she had a record deal with Sony”. LOL! Funny thing is “Colleen” DOES have a record deal and I was afraid she was constantly going to be singing. Caught me off guard when they brought this obnoxious character in.

WHOA! never saw this one coming
OMG!!! What a great spoiler….Chloe is really Kate, Esther’s daughter! Nikki finds Victor on the beach tomorrow. Of course he survived, he’s The Great Victor Newman. A mere devastating storm at sea is no match for him!
I love the way Jack tries to justify his dirty dealings by putting a good spin on it, like his reasoning as to why they should to the Victor story. I can’t believe Sharon actually caught on to his motives for once. Too bad she’s not smart enough to leave him. She continues to be caught in the middle because of Jack’s behavior, yet she continues to enable it. She doesn’t make Jack answer for any of his actions. Instead of telling him she expects him to act honorably, she told him she had no expectations, thus giving him free reign to be the lying jerk he’s always been.
Ooooo, Brad in charge of Newman, and Heather aka “that woman” is living at the ranch. And poor Vic’s been “dead” only one or two days. I’m loving it. Heather and Adam are going to give Vic’s belongings to GOOD WILL?! LOL! Hysterical. Victor’s probably rolling over in his nonexistent grave. I will admit, some of the storylines are much juicer since the new writer took over.
Paul to Victoria: “Don’t worry. You know I’m not going to let anything happen to your mother.” After he left her in Mexico alone? Yeah, I’d trust him with my mom’s welfare.
As for Chloe aka Kate, all this time and Esther didn’t know her daughter changed her name? Or that she worked in fashion? And Chloe didn’t even try to see Esther since she’s been in town?
