Only on the soaps do people begin packing BEFORE they have a place to live.
And it's about time Nick moved out of the ticky tack(y) house. Yet another thing that annoys me about the soaps. We're expected to believe TGVN can't afford to build a house for his kids--or more importantly, that they can't afford to build their own damn house--so he has to remodel the ticky tack(y) house. These kids all talk about how they want to be independent and they live with Daddy or on Daddy's ground. BTW, why didn't Vic evict Victoria and her brood?
Even that loser Jack Abbott was still living with Daddy because he was too immature to live on his own. Evidence the way he thought it was the end of the world when Glo got the house, INSTEAD of seeing it as a great opportunity to move into a new house with his new family.
